Grandiosa Olympus. Già da mesi si sapeva che stava lavorando su una compatta dalle forme vagamente retrò con al suo interno niente meno che il nuovo sistema di lenti micro quattro terzi, che permette di utilizzare il sensore di una reflex digitale nella metà dello spazio (e quindi di farci una compatta).

Se a questo ci aggiungete che guardando queste prime foto si capisce che la macchina verrà venduta con una lente base da 17mm / 2.8 (SBAV!!) e una lente aggiuntiva da 14-42mm / 3,5-5,6 (3x).. allora, mi spiace. ma il tutto diventa irresistibile.

Cioé stiamo parlando di una compatta, con il sensore di una DSLR, una lente base da 17mm e l’estetica retrò delle prime rangefinder.. INCAUTO ACQUISTO INEVITABILE!

Domani dovrebbero annunciarla e aggiorneremo il post con il prezzo (ti prego, non esagerare Olympus) e la data di uscita ufficaile.

Mi sembrano prezzi buoni! mi aspettavo moolto peggio. Se considerate che la versione top a 899 dollari sono per noi 650 euro.. e la base 540 euro.. mi pare grandioso! a questo punto tocca iniziare a risparmiare

L’hanno chiamata “Digital Pen” in onore della vecchia Olympus Pen FT degli anni sessanta, di cui trovate una foto comparativa nella galleria sotto. Sinceramente io avrei spinto ancora di più nel retrò: il design della E-P1 mi piace molto, ma bastava veramente una tacchetta in più di minimale anni sessanta per farmene innamorare completamente.

L’unico vero dubbio è comunque se optare per la versione metallo+nero o bianco+panna:

Verranno messi in vendita come mi aspettavo anche vari adattatori per le lenti lenti delle reflex Olympus e ci sarà modo di montare anche altro.. a partire dalle altre lenti micro quattro terzi di Panasonic e Leica per cominciare, ma mi pare che già le lenti in dotazione siano un buon punto di partenza.. fosse per me la userei sempre e solo con il 17 montato.
